ASB MARKETING – TESTIMONIAL
The Mining Australia Exhibition has once again allowed ASB Marketing to showcase our full range of promotional products and capabilities to our key mining markets. Thanks to Mark, Keith and the Swan Exhibitions team for another fantastic event.
As a result, the show for us was a great way for current and potential customers to meet some of the ASB Marketing team and view products specific to the industry. The response to our displays and marketing campaign were great, with many potential and existing clients happy we could fill so many of their requirements under one roof.
Overall, we have been happy at the level of interest shown to our products and look forward to next years’ exhibition.

IN 2010 we attended the Australian Mining Expo and were so impressed decided to apply to exhibit in 2011.
From our first meeting with you and the organising committe through to the close of the Expo, we were delighted with the support and information provided by Swan Exhibitions. The committee made time each day of the Expo to visit the booths, checking all was going well and we were happy with the progress of the event. They went out to their way to make sure each exhibitor felt valued.
The Cocktail Party on the first night made for a great networking opportunity and the money raised for charity from the auctions was very worthwhile.
There was a good flow of visitors to the event with a large variety of cross section of people. The venue was great and the layout was planned to ensure that we had the oppportunity to meet as many visitors as possible.
Centrals found this expo to be the best we have exhibited at and look forward to exhibiting in 2012.

RMS – TESTIMONIAL
RMS has been proud to be a part of the Mining Australia Exhibition since its inaugural event and have found this event to be the highlight of RMS’s marketing / expo calendar. Throughout the is journey we have seen the exhibition grow from strength to strength and RMS looks forward to continuing its close association with this industry leading event.
UON – TESTIMONIAL
UON was approached to be the power provider for the Mining Australia Expo 2011 at Belmont Park Race Course. With very little time to spare, Bernadette Melville and I had to quickly put together a budget for approval to exhibit at the show.
We only had about 3 weeks to prepare once we received the final approval to exhibit; and of course we jumped at the chance to provide the power requirements of the show. Therefore, we did not only had to organise the logistics of providing generators, boards, transport and refuelling, but also to plan our stand with furniture, equipment and strategy for the event.
Swan Exhibitions made this all very easy, providing us with a complete exhibitors brochure, which gave the complete outline of how we would get our equipment on the stand, the specific times we needed to set up our stand, transportation and forklift details, list of other exhibitors, name badges for our people and an overall overview of what to expect.
Once we committed to the show, Bernadette and I gave it everything we had. Due to the late decision of participating, our stand location was not our first choice; however, the show was set up in such a way that the traffic was directed to visit each stand at the show. Thus, we seized every opportunity to introduce ourselves to all visitors of the show. We also held 2 seminars that gave us the opportunity to showcase our most exciting products and projects. One seminar discussed UON’s iR Pump Trailer (making installations and removals of pumps safer) and this was presented by our Sales Manager, Karl Griffiths and the second seminar involved Energy and Power Management and this was presented by our Engineering Manager, Edward Lim.
All in all, we found the show worthwhile, with enquiries from the show in excess of $500,000 and made many contacts that could interestingly be our future potential clients. Majority of the contacts we made were not aware of who exactly UON was, therefore, being at the show definitely helped with UON’s brand recognition and awareness. We will be more than happy to continue with the show again in 2012.
